Meal Plans

For the ultimate convenience, flexibility and value, choose the 2010-2011 meal plan and purchase all your campus meals with your student ID card. You can use your Flex dollars at the convenience store located in Promontory Tower (PT) and all the dining locations in The Shepherd Union Food Court.

Wildcard Off-Campus Locations

Promontory Plan (for Promontory Towers residents)

$825 Dining Dollars and OCS Dollars per semester.
$625 Dining Dollars redeemable at all Sodexo Retail units.
$200 OCS Dollars that may be redeemed at any business within the OCS network. (Not redeemable at the bookstore).
If the student purchases the full year plan before the beginning of the Fall academic semester Sodexo will provide and additional 10% in bonus bucks plus 4 meal passes for the Wildcat Room..
Dining Dollars rollover from Fall to Spring within the academic year and expire at the end of the Spring semester. OCS Dollars expires after 2 semesters of inactivity. Dining Dollars are non-refundable.

Wildcat Plan (available to all)

$375 OCS Dollars. (Not redeemable at the Bookstore).
Available to Commuter Students, Faculty, and Staff.
If purchased before the beginning of the Fall or Spring semester Sodexo will offer a bonus of 8 Wildcat Room meal coupons.
OCS Dollars expire after 2 semesters of inactivity.

Purple Plan

$175 purchase price of the Purple Plan gives $175 in OCS Dollars (Not redeemable in the Bookstore).
Available to Commuter Students, Faculty, and Staff.
If purchased before the beginning of the Fall or Spring semester Sodexo will offer a bonus of 3 Wildcat Room meal coupons.
OCS Dollars expire after 2 semesters of inactivity.

How the Meal Plan Works

Meal Plan Changes
A resident may change his/her meal plan during the first two weeks of the semester at the Housing & Residence Life Office located in Promontory Tower or University Village.

Obtaining / Replacing Your Meal Card
The student identification card issued by the University serves as your meal card. Fall semester, if you are a freshman or transfer student, you may obtain your student ID card at orientation. The Wildcard Office in the Union Building issues your card. You must present picture ID and evidence of registration at the Wildcard Office.

Dining Committee
HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS TO SHARE? Please contact the Dining Services General Manager, Keith Murray, at Keith.Murray@sodexo.com about joining our dining committee. The committee meets once a month to share ideas about dining services on campus.

Having Visitors?
Guests are always welcome. You can use your Flex Dollars or Wildcat Cash to purchase a meal for your guests at any retail location. Please remember that you must be present to use your card.

*Hours of operation may change for holidays that occur during the academic year as well as during periods when the campus is secured. Holiday hours will be posted in the Shepherd Union the week prior to each holiday as well as on the website.
